The infinity cove is a green screen filming space that is presented to you pre-lit. An infinity cove is a studio with no horizon line; objects or people placed on it appear to float in space. It is particularly effective in green screen allowing you to place the scene in any environment real or imagined. Use additional lighting to trick your audience into thinking you are anywhere on Earth or beyond.
The Infinity Cove is used as a venue for Live Events allowing you to place your virtual conference in a virtual world. It's also featured in numerous films, TV, music videos and commercials.
At Galleon Studios we can further assist you in getting the most from our Infinity Cove. We are a video production company so we can help you light the cove or even film for you. Our experienced crew cover all elements of production, be it a live event or broadcast TV.
Our support doesn't end there as we offer all the kit you need. Therefore if you bring your own crew we can offer not only cameras and mics but so much more. We have autocues so you're never lost for words, motion control sliders to add movement, and jibs and cranes for overhead shots. As we're a green screen studio we also have items specifically to help with effects, these include tracking markers, green screen treadmills, and live keyers. The latter allows you to preview your green screen as you shoot. This is particularly important if you're matching the green screen to an existing background. So, if for example, you wanted to recreate a park on a sunny day we can shoot the subject to match the lighting for that or anything else.
The Infinity Cove also benefits from a large make-up room, dressing room, and a client lounge. The latter has a TV allowing clients to monitor from the vantage point of a comfortable sofa and green room. We also have ground floor access with space large enough to film vehicles, free parking, and super-fast internet.

About Galleon Studios
Galleon Studios is a first-class filming facility in the North of Manchester. It comprises of 3 studios each offering a different experience for the many and varied productions we welcome.
"Infinity" is our largest space. It's a green screen infinity cove big enough to film multiple people or large subjects such as vehicles or big sets.
"Hush" is one of our soundproof studios. Our facility is one of only 2 fully soundproof filming studios in the North West and Hush is perfect for interviews and pieces to camera. It's also large enough to accommodate small sets and backdrops. This means it's perfect if you wish to film uninterrupted.
The Live Suite is our specially built live streaming studio. Opened during the pandemic it was a lifeline for companies needing a venue for live events or where keynote speakers could remotely join from Manchester to the rest of the world. Galleon Studios also has a Podcast Styduio which may Podcast and Vodcasts call home.
The venue itself has superfast internet boasting the fastest speeds around. It has 2 kitchens, a shower, make-up room, dressing room, and toilet facilities. It also features a client lounge. This central hub allows clientele to monitor whichever studio they are suing and is the perfect place to relax on a break or watch the whole shoot unfold.
Galleon Studios was opened in 2007. We are a specialist filming studio and not a photographic studio. This means that the venue is purpose-built for the moving image. All lighting is in place and included in the hire fee. We also offer all the kit you'd need for a successful shoot. This includes cameras and mics as well as autocues, motion control rigs, and mixers. As we're a specialist green screen studio we have all you need to create a virtual venue. This includes live keyers that allow you to see the green screen with any background you wish as you shoot.
The studios are ideally situated just off the M62 and we offer free and ample parking.
