About this space

The Library is a Dining Room in St James's Hotel and Club where a single long central table creates an intimate, formal private‑dining environment.

Design: Rich dark-wood panelling, built-in bookshelves and framed portraiture sit against mirrored wall panels and a shallow, gilt-trimmed ceiling, producing a compact, club-style interior with warm, low-level lighting.

Features: An in-room PA system and speakers provide audio for speeches or music and the room allows use of guests' own playlists. The room also has Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, natural light and wheelchair access.

Ideal for: Corporate teams and small private groups seeking a formal, seated private‑dining experience in an enclosed, club-style space.

What guests say: The space is inviting with a polished, classic interior and is supported by consistently professional, attentive staff.
