It's a great location. The venue staff are friendly and helpful. The venue is a flexible space which easily accommodated our event Positive overall feedback from the event attendees.
The venue was due to have been decorated for Christmas as it was a Christmas party. This was not the case and there was a chaotic rush to make it look festive once we'd arrived. The Chef had a serious attitude problem which I mentioned at the time. He was apparently a contractor and not the usual venue staff. The food lacked the broad range of items mentioned for the Silver Buffet, with more chips and dips added in replacement.

We found the pub itself was very nice and in a great location.
The service started off great, we had a private barman who started the evening really helpful and nice. However, the manager of this pub was very unpleasant, clearly stressed his staff out who then in turn became less friendly towards us. We also paid for hundreds of pounds worth of bar tokens, our event stopped at 10pm but with the pub closing at midnight or 1am. The manager said that we would no longer be able to spend our tokens at the bar and they would expire at 10pm essentially keeping the hundreds of pounds on unspent drinks.
Great venue with what we needed for a team away day. Tables, projector, food, tea and coffee.
