About this space

The 'Nail Bar' is a semi-private seating alcove in The Old Crown, Bookham that sits apart from the main bar and provides a compact, separated space for small gatherings.

Design: The space features wood panelling, low pendant lighting and a mix of fixed banquette and loose seating that gives a compact, vintage-inspired look. The space has tall windows that supply natural light and narrow proportions that encourage close seating and conversation.

Features: The area includes fixed banquette seating alongside movable tables and pouffe stools that can be rearranged for different layouts. The area is equipped with a PA system and speakers and allows own-music playback, together with a small cleared zone usable as a dance spot. The area also has on-site Wi‑Fi, step-free access and accessible toilets nearby.

Ideal for: Groups of friends or colleagues looking for an intimate, relaxed mix of seated conversation and casual standing or light dancing.
