About this space

The Salon was initially created for luxurious family parties by the first owner of the property, but the space was simply too charming not to share with the public! Featuring a stunning chandelier, beautiful paintings, an elegant fireplace, and an impressive wooden arch at one end of the room, the venue is built in a rich and artistic style. Additionally, the sweeping staircase behind the heavy doors is the perfect way for the bride to make an unforgettable entrance.

Adjacent Georgian style Orangery overlooks the beautiful scenery of the surroundings and can be used for coffee breaks, live music or a buffet lunch. If the guests want to enjoy refreshments during the celebration, the neighbouring Library is a fantastic option with a number of cosy chairs and elegant bookcases.

The Salon at Hintlesham Hall Hotel is a space perfect for large-scale wedding events and private dining parties able to accommodate up to 94 sitting and 100 standing guests.

The Salon hire is included in two wedding packages:

(From noon to 6 pm - No evening dancing)

January, February, March, April, May, October & November (Saturday & Bank holiday Sunday) - £100.00 per person
(minimum of 64 adults)
June, July, August, September & December (Saturday & Bank holiday Sunday) - £115.00 per person
(minimum of 64 adults)

Your day includes:
• The hire of the civil ceremony room, where required, plus Garden Room & Library lounges
• Two glasses per person of Prosecco for an aperitif
• Salon (maximum of 94 guests) for your wedding breakfast
• Three-course wedding breakfast with coffee and chocolate truffles
• Menu tasting for the special couple
• Two glasses per person of house wine with the wedding breakfast
• One glass per person of Prosecco for the toast
• Overnight accommodation for the newlyweds

For other weddings that wish to have evening dancing, we do request that ten bedrooms are reserved in close proximity to the sound of the music.
