About this space
Our Mezzanine is an upstairs space to keep your group together while you can still enjoy the atmosphere of the bar below. With warm wooden furniture, multiple TVs, and a full speaker setup, it’s made for watching the game with great sound and visibility from every seat.
The space includes two large tables with personal Heineken and Birra Moretti taps, three semi-private booths with 32″ TVs (seating up to 6 each), and enough room to seat 40 guests in total. It’s ideal for private events like birthdays, work gatherings, or casual catch-ups. Private hire starts from groups of 30+.

About The Tap Yard
We’re based in Merchant Square, in Glasgow’s Candleriggs. The Tap Yard offers a chill bar atmosphere and adaptable arrangements for private events. Stay in the downstairs bar, packed with TVs and great energy on game days. Or appreciate a more laid-back space in the Mezzanine, which is perfect for more focused gatherings without missing out on the action below.
We also have an outdoor area when the weather plays along. For hire, you can choose from the Mezzanine for smaller events, or hire the entire place and enjoy extra privacy! For just watching the game with mates, or taking over the full venue for something bigger, we’ve got the ideal space to make it happen!
