About this space

The Private Lounge is a lounge in The Moot Bar that presents an intimate seating area defined by deep blue walls, a warm painted ceiling and a decorative fireplace.

Design: The Private Lounge pairs dark blue painted walls and a warm ochre ceiling with brass-accent pendant lights. The space arranges leather Chesterfield sofas and mixed upholstered armchairs around low wooden tables for a compact, informal layout.

Features: The lounge includes complimentary Wi‑Fi and natural daylight from front-facing windows. The room provides leather sofas, armchairs and several low wooden tables arranged for conversation and casual serving. The space has a step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, conversational setting for seated socialising and informal standing receptions.

What sets it apart: An in-room PA system combined with permission to play your own music or bring a DJ gives hosts direct control over music and announcements.

What guests say: The space is relaxed and welcoming, maintaining a friendly atmosphere even when busy. The room benefits from attentive on-site staff and regular live entertainment.
