About this space

The Potting Shed is a Garden in Oddfellows Chester defined by a large wildlife mural and garden-themed décor.

Design: The Potting Shed presents reclaimed timber floors, pallet-wood surfaces and mixed-height seating that create a rustic, informal aesthetic. Low ceilings and a narrow, rectangular plan give the room an intimate, sheltered feel.

Features: The Potting Shed includes a long communal table, bar seating and flexible standing areas. The space provides a PA system with speakers, air conditioning and venue Wi‑Fi, and it is wheelchair accessible and receives natural daylight.

Ideal for: Social groups seeking a relaxed, informal standing reception or a casual seated meal.

What guests say: The space has a quirky interior and a lively, approachable atmosphere. The bar offers a wide cocktail selection and the events team is attentive for private bookings.
