About this space

The Royalist is a Function Room in Ellenborough Park and is a compact, boardroom-style space suited to focused seated gatherings.

Design: The room presents traditional period finishes, patterned carpet, a chandelier and leaded windows dressed with heavy curtains. Proportions are modest and ceiling height keeps the space contained rather than expansive.

Features: The room is furnished for meetings with an oval table, a flipchart and a small coffee station. Built-in Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, a PA system with speakers and allowance for own music support presentations and background music. Wheelchair access and accessible toilets are included.

Ideal for: Small teams or committees needing a formal, seated meeting in a traditional, focused setting.

What sets it apart: A surviving stretch of original oak panelling and a carved stone fireplace provide a genuine manor-house feature that is not commonly found in modern meeting rooms.

What guests say: The Royalist benefits from the hotel's historic setting and attractive building. Staff supporting events are friendly, though service can be inconsistent at times.
