About this space

Live Room is a Function Room in Dead Wax Social centred on vinyl-led DJ and live-music programming that shapes the space's purpose and atmosphere.

Design: The interior pairs dark timber floors and panelled walls with mixed metal and vintage-style seating and low pendant lights. The room has compact proportions and a close-up feel suited to amplified music and audience interaction.

Features: An in-room PA system and speakers support amplified sets. Wi‑Fi and air conditioning are available, and the layout uses movable tables and chairs for flexible seated or standing configurations. Hosts may bring their own DJ and play their own music.

Ideal for: Bands, DJs and music-focused groups seeking an informal, social night that can be either standing and dance-focused or mixed seating.

What sets it apart: A curtained, raised performance area creates a clear focal point for DJs and small live acts.

What guests say: The space has a welcoming atmosphere and a comfortable layout. The space has attentive, friendly staff and regular vinyl-led music nights that produce a lively, dance-friendly environment.
