The Abbey Room at the Abbey Tavern in Howth is a versatile and historic event space, perfect for a wide range of functions, from weddings and corporate events to the venue's famous traditional Irish music and dance shows. It is part of a genuine 16th-century tavern and maintains its authentic interior with cut-stone walls, flagstone floors, and an overall old-world feel.

The room's 190 m² area can be configured for various seating styles, accommodating a significant number of guests: up to 180 people in theatre style, up to 120 people for a banquet, and up to 180 people for a cocktail reception. It is suitable for corporate meetings and conferences, with boardroom/classroom capacities of 60 and 80, respectively.

The room is fully equipped with a professional stage, as well as high-end sound and lighting systems. This includes color-changeable mood lighting, projectors, screens, and wireless microphones, making it ideal for live bands, DJs, and presentations.

It comes with its own private bar and access to private bathroom facilities, ensuring a self-contained and exclusive experience for your event. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (both wired and wireless), and Macs and PCs are available on-site.
