About this space

Studio1856 is an industrial studio venue defined by abundant natural light from large multi-pane windows that brighten an open, uncluttered floorplate.

Design: The interior is an industrial shell with high, white-painted ceilings, exposed roof beams and broad concrete floors finished in matt grey. The space presents clean, minimal surfaces and open rectangular proportions that make layout changes straightforward.

Features: The venue provides Wi‑Fi and permits guests to play their own music subject to an onsite noise restriction. A ground-floor café is present for casual food and drink, and the building includes a step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Creative teams, photographers and production crews seeking a relaxed, flexible setting for informal working or social setups.

What guests say: The venue has a relaxed, atmospheric character and a distinctive industrial look.
