Booked The Cocktail Club for a 30th birthday party and it was an excellent night! The booking process was so easy and straight forward, all the staff were super friendly, attentive and responsive. All our guests had an amazing time and found the venue easily. The drinks selection was great too with a wide range of choices that were expertly made. All in all I would highly recommend! I had the most amazing evening with The Oxford Market (Ground Floor Bar) to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Sergio was a fantastic host and the bar staff and bouncers were all very good as well. Thea was a great rep and was very helpful with the booking process as well as responsive to all the questions I had ahead of the evening. The venue is very nice room with cool quirky decorations and they also let you use the beer garden area (which is shared with other people). The food portion sizes were a lot bigger than you'd think if you are considering catering. Music is flexible, we opted to play our own music but DJ hire was also allowed.

Lucy Wong was a great venue to host our 30th birthday party, the staff were helpful, friendly and we had a great time especially as the dance floor opened later on. The location is ideal and we comfortably had 50 guests as people move in and out of the space. They gave us wristbands so that people could spend on our tab.

The veranda space at Burlock was absolutely perfect for our group of around 40 guests. The atmosphere was lively, the music was fantastic, and the staff were great as they followed every detail of what I had asked for perfectly. The food was served right on time at 9pm in the evening, exactly as requested, and the drinks I’d planned on arrival were beautifully arranged on the tables, creating a fun and welcoming “ready to celebrate” vibe. I was also so touched to see that they had added birthday balloons, which was such a thoughtful detail that made the photos even better. Everything ran so smoothly, and I honestly would not have changed a thing. I highly recommend Burlock for anyone planning a celebration and I had a great 30th here!

The space was perfect and the prep for it (custom cocktail sign, guest list, ability to control music, etc.) was all exactly why we chose this venue in the first place. It went off without any challenges, and we received lots of compliments from guests. We also really enjoyed working with the team, I felt like they really helped us capture the right vibe at different times (e.g. dimming the lights as people started to dance, bringing out a smoke machine, even dancing behind the bar along with us as we were wrapping up the event). We were really pleased with them!

Booked the bar area exclusively for a birthday event. The food was fantastic, better than the tasting we had initially done prior. Could not fault the catering at all. Spot on! It would have been beneficial to have more waiters at the bar to begin with but nevertheless the flow was decent. Wish there had been more clearer communication at the beginning, senior management on the day were somewhat accommodating. However did find one of the managers to be quite unpleasant on the day. Overall wait staff were very attentive and fun, catering was amazing. Venue speaks for itself, just a shame on small service etiquettes.

Both Lisa and Elina, the event space hosts were amazing throughout the process. They assisted with every detail, providing suggestions to meet our budget. They were both accommodating and flexible to our needs and requests throughout. Prior to the event they ensured all my question were answered and kept me updated on any developments. On the day, they assigned an event manager that enable us to set the room out how we discussed and accommodated any additional requests. I highly recommend the venue and could not thank Lisa and Elina enough.

Dimitri the event planner was so helpful and accommodating the whole way through. All of the rules and regulations were set out clearly from the first time we met and there was no messing around. The “white room” (pink room! Haha) was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted for my 30th. All of the staff were friendly and we just had the most amazing night from start to finish. He even made a slideshow for me that was displayed across the whole of the back wall. I would recommend everyone to have their party here.
