Location was central, easily accessible for all. Room was light and spacious enough for my purpose

About Ross House

Ross House, a five-story heritage-listed building nestled in Flinders Lane, Melbourne CBD, stands as a welcoming hub for those seeking affordable meeting room rentals and community networking opportunities.

Positioned conveniently, just 200m from Flinders St Railway Station and surrounded by accessible tram routes along Elizabeth, Swanston, and Collins Streets, Ross House provides a central and easily reachable location for a variety of purposes.

Our rooms are versatile and cater to a range of purposes, making them ideal for various events such as hybrid meetings and conferences, workshops and training sessions, business and special interest gatherings, classes, and tutoring, professional development days, as well as in-person presentations and talks.

Proudly the only self-managed and community-owned not-for-profit building in Melbourne since 1987, Ross House has been an integral part of the city's social justice and environmental community. Situated on the ancestral land of the Wurundjeri people, we acknowledge and honor them as traditional owners.

Ross House serves as a supportive environment for community groups to grow, connect, and evolve, offering affordable office space to over 50 small not-for-profit groups dedicated to environmental and social justice causes. Choosing Ross House as your venue means actively supporting the social justice and environmental movement in Melbourne.
