Great Location but the worst host ever! Was uptight about everything because of what some other party did before us. His speakers weren’t working so we tried to troubleshoot it and he sent a 1000 letter essay in my DMs not to touch the speakers. What am I supposed to do without speakers working at a party? I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOW VOLUME SPEAKER AND SPEAKER WITH NO SOUND. THERE WAS SOUND ON 2 SPEAKERS BUT THERE WAS NOTHING COMING OUT FROM 2 SPEAKERS. HE HAD 4 SPEAKERS He had 4 speakers and only 2 speakers were working, no one was hanging on the speakers. Post it on social media if you have a cctv footage. I’m a DJ, I know how sound works more than you. YOU HAD 4 SPEAKERS. WE TURNED UP THE VOLUME AND ONLY 2 SPEAKERS HAD SOUND. SHOW ME PROOF THAT SOMEONE WAS HANGING OFF A SPEAKER? Stop trying to change the narrative to save ur sorry ass venue. I was standing on a chair to reach the buttons and input of the speaker to check where and how it was connected. I checked if they were on. We have common sense not to hang on the speakers. I didn’t invite any monkeys. His dance class before the event didn’t have ears or something and didn’t know 2 speakers had no sound. 2 SPEAKERS HAD NO VOLUME AT ALL. AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO TROUBLESHOOT SOUND AS A DJ? What am I supposed to do with only 2 speakers working. 1. Turn up the speakers ( 2 speakers were still not working after checking everything on the console) only 2 speakers had sound coming, and there was no sound in the other 2. 2. Check if the speakers are on and connected (This is where u saw me touching the speaker) Checked sound again and still no sound 3. Check if the cables are connected correctly (His 2 speakers were connected in the wrong plugs) After this I never touched his speakers again No one was hanging on speakers like he mentioned. We’re not high school students, everyone have a job and know how to behave properly in someone’s private space. Just because other people did it, doesn’t mean you have to look down on us too. Thank you for showing your true self. IF YOU CAN’T HANDLE PEOPLE TROUBLESHOOTING don’t rent out ur space. NO ONE WAS TRYING TO DESTROY ANYTHING AT YOUR EVENT SPACE. STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE.
