Our Studio 1 is a classic white-walled studio featuring a full-length dance mirror, abundant natural light, and newly renovated sprung flooring throughout. This versatile space is perfect for workshops, training sessions, castings, and training courses, and it offers direct access to our private outdoor courtyard for added convenience.

Term-time availability: Monday – Wednesday between 5pm and 9pm; Thursday – Sunday between 9am and 9pm.
Holiday-time availability: Monday - Sunday 9am - 9pm.
Rates: £27.50+VAT (£33 gross) per hour, minimum booking period of two hours.

**Clean Break is closed over summer 2023 whilst we undergo building improvements.
Availability is from 25th September 2023, through to March 2024.**

Clean Break is a dry building, please do not bring alcohol or alcohol containing products (e.g., hand sanitizer) to our property.
Outside catering is allowed, please speak to us beforehand for recommendation of local cafes and companies we recommend.
We are in a mixed-use area, with residential properties on two sides - please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise in the courtyard to a minimum and a respectful level when inside the building.

About Clean Break

Clean Break’s building is tucked away from the main road in the heart of Kentish Town, and is home to our Members programme, artist development and rehearsals.

We have three ground floor studio spaces and two meeting rooms available to hire for workshops, rehearsals, training, wellbeing courses and meetings. Our building is trauma-informed by design, our hirers regularly tell us that our building has a relaxed, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For decades we have built safe and creative spaces for women with experience of or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. The income we earn from people hiring our spaces goes towards this vital work and helps ensure that we can keep changing lives with theatre.

Clean Break is in a residential area, and as many more of our neighbours are now working from home, we are being extra mindful of the type of bookings taken on – unfortunately will not be able to take on any bookings for especially loud activities, such as band practices, amplified music, exercise classes or choirs.

We can take bookings up to six months in advance. If you need any additional information, would like to arrange a site visit, or to make a booking - please get in touch!
