With 173 rooms, Berners Tavern restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, three bars, a private event space, meeting rooms and a buzzing lobby, the hotel offers a dynamic social hub where guests and visitors can work, relax, socialise and dine.
A Soho hotspot, Basement offers an eclectic event space ideal for film screenings, fashion shows and product launches. The venue features custom lighting by Patrick Woodroffe, a full bar and a state-of-the-art sound system.

Service charge +13.5%
In addition to the minimum spend we do require you to cover the costs of security which as per our license must be provided for Basement events with alcohol. The number of security personnel are dependent on the number of guests as follows:
Less than 60 guests = 3 security personnel for a minimum of 6 hours each
70-110 guests = 4 security personnel for a minimum of 6 hours each
110-150 guests = 5 security personnel for a minimum of 6 hours each
150-180 guests = 6 security personnel for a minimum of 6 hours each
180-200 guests = 7 security personnel for a minimum of 6 hours each
£22 per hour per 1 security personnel
Please note that the duration must be for the length of the event + 1 hour to allow time for escorting guests at the end of the event and to be prepared for early arrivals.
