About this space
The Russell Ladies, the previous residents of 2 Audley Square, were renowned for their Drawing Room gatherings, which offered “some of the best talk and pleasantest evenings the London world had to offer.” This tradition continues today at the Club, with the Drawing Room still providing a tranquil space to meet friends or enjoy one of our many musical evenings.
Much like the Library, the room retains its original opulent fireplace and, in addition, features exquisite hand-painted wall panels in a Chinoiserie style by artist Lucy Makin. A grand piano completes the atmosphere, offering both beauty and harmony.
Overlooking our secluded terrace garden, this light-filled room is located on the first floor, directly opposite the Library. It serves as a classic setting for elegant lunches, afternoon teas, musical recitals, evening gatherings, parties, and wedding breakfasts. The space is also licensed for wedding ceremonies. With a capacity for up to 60 people, the Drawing Room can accommodate up to 100 when combined with the Library.
This charming space provides an idyllic setting for an intimate and memorable gathering with friends, family, or colleagues, offering both elegance and warmth.
Event offers and packages

(All prices exclude VAT)
One Room:
• Morning or Afternoon (4 hrs): £1,200.00
• Full Day (8 hrs): £2,200.00
• Evening (6–11pm): £1,500.00
• After 11pm: additional £500.00 per hour
Both Rooms:
• Morning or Afternoon (4 hrs): £2,000.00
• Full Day (8 hrs): £4,000.00
• Evening (6–11pm): £2,500.00
• After 11pm: additional £800.00 per hour
Minimum Food & Beverage Spend:
• Morning / Afternoon / Full Day: £30.00 per person
• Evening Events: £40.00 per person
AV/PA Equipment:
Available for a one-off fee of £150.00 per event, which includes:
• HD ultra short throw projector and screen
• 55” TV
• Zoom camera
• 4-channel microphone system with speakers
A 12.5% gratuity is added to the final invoice.
Booking and Cancellation Policy:
• A deposit equal to the Room Hire is required to confirm your booking, deductible from your final invoice.
• Cancellations made less than two months before the event date will result in the deposit being non-refundable.
• Final guest numbers and catering orders are required at least one week prior to the event.
Prices
• £120.00 + VAT per hour for bookings of up to 5 hours
• £100.00 + VAT per hour for bookings of more than 5 hours
• £850.00 + VAT for a full-day hire (up to 12 hours)
