Our beautiful Victorian railway arch is a versatile & flexible space located in central London at the end of Maltby Street market on the Bermondsey Beer Mile - close to transport links of London Bridge and Bermondsey. Whether it’s a birthday, a Christmas party, a work party, a team day or a relaxed gathering with friends over a movie screening, our space is budget friendly and ideal for a wide range of events. The entire space comprises of our main ground floor taproom space and a mezzanine event space.

Our ground floor bar serves a range of fresh and natural drinks including British beers, English wines, non alcoholic drinks and great cocktails too. Our seating is flexible meaning that you can have tables and chairs out for intimate chats or out the way for a dance floor!

Our first floor events space overlooks the main space and is ideal as a pumping disco or karaoke room, a buffet or eating area, a photo booth and screening space or just a quiet overflow from the bar.

Looking for a group activity? Chat to us about our House DJ, Karaoke with a compere, or guided beer tasting from one of our beer hosts.

Space capacity is flexible depending on configuration but our capacity is 120 across both floors

Host rules

▪ Noise levels to be controlled at the discretion of staff members
▪ Guests are not allowed behind the bar, in the storage area, in the kitchen, or
in the emergency stairwell at the back of the arch
▪ Naked flames (including but not limited to: birthday candles, tea lights,
and lighters) are not allowed inside the premises. This is a condition of our lease
as a Network Rail tenant.
▪ Children and pets must be under adult supervision at all times.
▪ Guest should please leave the premises silently so as not to disturb our
neighbours. We ask that guests disperse and arrange separate pick-up points
for taxis to keep noise levels to a minimum.
▪ Confetti, smoke machines, party poppers, and other glitter guns are not
permitted. These are incredibly time-consuming to clear up and use will
incur a cleaning fee to be deducted from your deposit.
▪ Decorations are allowed but they must not damage the existing artwork or
posters in the space and guests should ensure they are taken home on the
night of the party or the morning after prior to the venue re-opening
▪ Guests must please leave the premises in line with the Hiver licensing hours
you will be informed of your last orders and leaving times as part
of your booking.
▪ Bringing your own alcohol is not permitted, however you can bring your own food!

Would highly recommend this venue. I hosted my 30th birthday here and the staff were great and location was ideal. It is amazing value for money! Kat was very friendly and helpful in the lead up to the event.

Couldn't have asked for a better venue! Kat and the team were amazing from the moment we reached out to plan our event; very informative, welcoming and keen to accommodate us. The venue was lovely, spacious with a generous outdoors area allowing people at the event to network and connect with everyone. When the arrived, Kat and the team were happy to rearrange the table layout to ensure all the guests had a chance to mingle and connect, as well as helping us display promotional banners we had provided for the event. The bar was well staffed with quick and easy service throughout the night. The location is brilliant at a 10-15 min walk from London Bridge, no guests had issues getting there or home as it's so well connected with transport and ubers available. We were also lucky enough that the venue is partnered with Yard sale pizza who were able to provide the food for our event, and co-ordinated beautifully with the venue to facilitate our event with minimal involvement from our side - we just got to enjoy our pints and company! Thank you to Kat and the team again for helping us host such a successful event at a very reasonable hiring cost!
