Most events are absolutely fine just bearing in mind that we are Grade 1 heritage listed building.

As we are reopening Searcys venues, we make sure that each space gets
accredited with “We’re Good to Go” industry standard, launched by VisitBritain, UK’s
national tourist board.

This means that each venue adheres to the respective Government and public
health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checks we have
the required processes in place.

It is fully supported by Meetings Industry Association (MIA) that encourages event
venues to apply for consumer-facing accreditation.

The staff have been so supportive and helpful throughout planning stages. The day went very smoothly and guests were so impressed with the look of the venue!! The catering was delicious, and got many compliments from guests.

Our wedding at Carlton House Terrace was perfect, all thanks to the impeccable planning and knowledge from Catherine and Steph from Searcys. In February we found out we couldn’t go ahead with our 26th June wedding in Edinburgh, so we quickly got on the case to find a spot in London. We found this place through Tag Venue and from the first phone call with Catherine, I knew we had found the perfect venue for our reimagined, more intimate wedding.

We were living in New York at the time but we were able to sketch out two different wedding scenarios via Zoom calls - one if the restrictions lifted and one if they didn’t. We had no idea we’d be waiting until the very last minute for the details, but again were always put at ease by Catherine and Steph, never felt pressured to do something that wouldn’t work for us, and truly felt like no matter what it would all work out.

And it did! While literally everything about our wedding was a “backup”, it all worked how it was meant to. Thank you, thank you to the Carlton House Terrace team!

Ten different rooms are available to hire, from 2 – 200 people, each offering their own unique style. Many of our rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, creating light and relaxed environments.

{10-11} Carlton House Terrace was built during the late 1820s and early 1830s on land previously occupied by Carlton House, the residence of the Prince Regent, who became George IV.
