About this space

Wild by Tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. Housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 SQ. ft. site combines a restaurant, bar, deli, retail store, events space and photography studio.Founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the successful duo behind bespoke catering company Tart London, and Tom Warren, founder of leading photography studio Lock Studios.

Inspired by places and people they love, Lucy and Jemima cook food with big flavours and seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced where possible. Dishes are served from an open kitchen with counter seating, a wood burning oven and charcoal grills.

Private events are an integral part of Wild by Tart. In the lead up to our restaurant, we ran events in the space for our first year, hosting incredible parties, weddings and product launches. We look forward to running many more wonderful events in our space which lends itself well to any occasion. We have three private hire options; The Mezzanine, The Studio and Exclusive Hire of the entire venue.

We can happily hire these in for you from one of our preferred suppliers. Once we know your requirements we can provide a quote for hire and delivery. Delivery and collection times are between 07:00 – 23:00. No deliveries or collections are permitted at the Venue outside of these hours. No noisy set up or de-rig is permitted before 08:00 and after 20:00. This includes (but is not limited to) drilling, lighting rigs and structural set design. Quiet set up and de-rig is permitted from 06:00 and until 01:30.
If loading out and de-rigging cannot be completed on the night of the Event, it must be done between 07:00 – 07:30 the following morning. This would not incur any additional charges. Additional hours for de-rig and/or loading out are available until 10:00. For whole Venue hire this involves closing for breakfast and as such incurs a charge of £4,000. For studio hire it incurs a charge of £1,000.

Production |
For sound and DJ equipment the Hirer must procure the services of third-party production suppliers from Tart Kitchen Ltd’s list of preferred suppliers. All production elements, to include set design, music, decoration, AV, must be agreed in writing with Tart’s Kitchen Ltd 2 weeks prior to the Event.


About Wild by Tart

Wild by Tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. Housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 SQ. ft. site combines a restaurant, bar, deli, retail store, events space and photography studio.Founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the successful duo behind bespoke catering company Tart London, and Tom Warren, founder of leading photography studio Lock Studios.

Inspired by places and people they love, Lucy and Jemima cook food with big flavours and seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced where possible. Dishes are served from an open kitchen with counter seating, a wood burning oven and charcoal grills.

Private events are an integral part of Wild by Tart. In the lead up to our restaurant, we ran events in the space for our first year, hosting incredible parties, weddings and product launches. We look forward to running many more wonderful events in our space which lends itself well to any occasion. We have three private hire options; The Mezzanine, The Studio and Exclusive Hire of the entire venue.

Exclusive Hire of the Entire Venue | The space offers a highly versatile platform to host full hire events and is equipped with the latest audio visual technology to cater for a wide variety of events, from awards ceremonies to press launches and fashion shows.

The Studio | The Studio is 2,000 sq. foot. With its high, glass panelled ceiling, the Studio benefits from excellent natural light and a variety of feature walls, making it the perfect boutique photographic location. Separated from the main restaurant and bar area by floor to ceiling crittall sliding doors, the Studio can be hiredas a multiuse and versatile private events space be it exclusive breakfasts, lunches and dinners, photography shoots, exhibitions or screenings. The sliding doors which separate the Studio from the restaurant ensures privacy and an intimate setting.

The Mezzanine | A unique private dining space situated on a raised Mezzanine level.
