About this space

The Radhakrishnan Room is an exceptional, bright, double-aspect room overlooking St James’s Park and the Mall to the rear of the building. Major pieces from the academy’s art collection hang along its walls, as do gold chandeliers from a majestic corniced ceiling.

However, the most enchanting feature of this space has to be the view from the windows. Standing here, you can take some of London’s finest sights, including Horse Guards Parade, the tower of Big Ben and the London Eye.

The Radhakrishnan Room works well as a breakout space for both the Wolfson Room and Webb Room, or as a standalone room for events of up to 40 guests.

Most events are absolutely fine just bearing in mind that we are Grade 1 heritage listed building.

As we are reopening Searcys venues, we make sure that each space gets
accredited with “We’re Good to Go” industry standard, launched by VisitBritain, UK’s
national tourist board.

This means that each venue adheres to the respective Government and public
health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checks we have
the required processes in place.

It is fully supported by Meetings Industry Association (MIA) that encourages event
venues to apply for consumer-facing accreditation.
