A cosy basement space with screens, sound system and a karaoke machine. Our basement function room holds up to 60 people standing or 40 seated.

Great location Food was very tasty and in good portions Staff were super friendly and helpful

It was too hot, doesn't have a/c or fans in the basement so had to go upstairs to get some fresh air Furniture could do with an upgrade Only one mic worked for the karaoke machine

Staff very lovely and accommodating. Room well decorated (loved the fairy lights!) Space suited our needs perfectly. Would definitely come back again

Very difficult to get in contact with the venue prior to the event (no response to emails). The room was also not set up properly before the event started - screws/nails sticking out of the ceiling (these were pushed back in before all guests had arrived), karaoke was not set up (had to request this upon arrival), and the bottle bar that was promised never appeared

The venue was amazing, the communication leading up to the event was helpful and they responded really quickly. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I also thought it was great value for money, the karaoke machine was such an added bonus. The food was really delicious and came quickly when we ordered, there was no need to pre order . We would definitely use The Regent again, great pub, great service in a really beautiful part of London

Had an amazing time hiring the basement room, really spacious and good value for money, loved the karaoke, the staff were lovely and helpful and the bar had a v good and reasonably priced selection of drinks. Will definitely come again - thank you!

The ladies bathroom floor was a bit of a mess and only had one locking stall, but apart from that everything else was great.

In the perfect spot just off the hustle and bustle of Upper Street, The Regent’s setting makes us popular day and night whether that’s popping in for coffee and a flick of the papers or for dinner and drinks with friends later in the day.

We pride ourselves on our exceptional service and a warm welcome to all.

Check out our amazing menu, we are famous for our stone baked pizzas, we have an excellent array of lager and craft ales, a lovely wine list, cocktails and more.

The private hire space itself is on the lower ground floor of our established pub and is a really flexible space. The room fits up to 60 people and has its own sound system & karaoke machine. Anything you wanted to order (draught, cocktails, etc) can be ordered from the bar and our full menu is available to you on the day and of course via a pre order. We can set up the room to your needs, as a dance floor, a full seated dining experience or anything inbetween. There is also a TV screen should you wish to show photos etc during your time with us.
