Despite a long list of issues ahead of our son’s birthday party at Everyman Crystal Palace - on the day, it was a lovely event. I do think that there is a disconnect between the events team and those on the ‘ground’. The staff were unaware of what the party pack was for the food so initially we had 6 drinks and popcorn - once I explained that was additional to the pack where I ordered pizzas, which also include a juice and popcorn … the remaining popcorn and juice were brought out. Jessie was super helpful throughout. The lounge area we were given after was far too small for the amount of guests and it meant that we encroached on the main reception area which was probably everyone’s worst nightmare to have a group of 7 year olds running around. The venue is very clean. The food on the day was great and pausing the film to make sure all the children had their food was a fantastic idea.
