The Basement – Hard Rock Cafe is Dublin's stylish underground venue where iconic music history meets modern event technology.
With capacity for up to 100 guests seated or 140 guests (100 seated + 40 standing), The Basement is a versatile space designed to host everything from corporate events and conferences to live music performances, networking evenings, product launches, private parties, awards nights, quizzes, drinks receptions and exclusive celebrations.
The space features a fully stocked premium bar serving handcrafted cocktails, wines, beers and spirits, alongside flexible catering options from the Hard Rock Cafe kitchen.
A professional stage and modern Bose sound system make The Basement ideal for live entertainment, keynote speakers, DJs and presentations. Multiple wall-mounted screens, full multimedia capabilities and AV connectivity make the place suitable for conferences, meetings, awards ceremonies and hybrid events.
Adding to the atmosphere is Hard Rock's legendary collection of authentic music memorabilia, featuring iconic pieces from artists including Bob Dylan, Slash, Jimi Hendrix, Phil Lynott, Eminem, Madonna and many more, creating an event setting your guests won't forget.

Host rules
• Maximum capacity must not be exceeded.
• Event timings, including access and departure times, must be agreed in advance.
• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult where alcohol is being served.
• No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the venue.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless agreed in advance.
• Decorations are welcome but must be approved by the events team. Confetti, glitter, smoke machines, candles and pyrotechnics are not permitted.
• Live entertainment, DJs and amplified music are welcome and can be accommodated using our in-house stage and Bose sound system. Entertainment must be agreed in advance.
• All external AV, production or entertainment suppliers must be approved by the venue prior to the event.
• The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or discontinue alcohol service to any guest who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.
• Any damage caused to the venue, furnishings or memorabilia during the event may be charged to the organiser.
• Setup requirements, deliveries and collections should be arranged with the events team before the event date.
• Accessibility requirements can be discussed in advance to ensure the best possible experience for all guests.
