The venue space is lovely - really modern and open. There was a lovely kitchen area with plenty of tea, coffee and snacks available. The conference room was too small for our event but would be fine for a meeting or non event seminar where literature and information is not required. Staff were very helpful and tried to ensure that all our visitors found their way into the space. The catering was fab, really fresh and tasty and everyone loved the cake and pastries.
Difficult to locate the space and get in first thing. Communication issues meant the same thing was done twice - laid out reception desk, moved all literature boxes outside only to have to move all again to inside the meeting room which was already set up for tea and coffee - this made our first hour very hectic and stressful. It is not an easy venue to have stuff delivered to or collected from because entrance is through a cafe and it is not clear from outside the building how you get in! This would not stop us using the space again but we would be more aware and not have so much material shipped to hand out.
