A Christmas party deal is a service provided by the venue staff to ease your holiday preparation. Party locales and restaurants in London usually offer flexible holiday packages, including different amenities and food options. Usually, these offers include a Christmas dinner; depending on price, it can be a single meal or a full festive menu with starters, beverages, pudding, and a free cocktail/glass of wine. Sometimes, venue decor is a part of the package, saving you time and money on DIY Christmas ornaments. In some cases, Christmas deals also provide a party planning expert who will handle the logistics and ensure you have the best possible experience! Such services are especially useful and popular among large corporate Christmas party venues in London.

Yes, you can customise a Christmas party package in London. Many venues offer flexible pricing like per-person rates, flat hire fees, or minimum spend options. This allows you to adjust food, drink, and entertainment to suit your needs. For example, Simmons | Holborn has event packages that charges per person, which can include drinks and space hire. Pedro’s Wine Bar and Bubba Oasis use minimum spend pricing, letting you decide how to allocate your budget. Some venues also allow custom decorations or entertainment depending on their policy.

A package does more than save admin, it can lift the event itself. Compared with arranging everything yourself, booking a package adds:

  • One price and far less admin. The venue coordinates catering, drinks, decor and staffing, so you're not chasing separate caterers, bar hire and suppliers.
  • Better value. A bundled per-head deal usually costs less than booking the room, food, drinks and entertainment piecemeal, and a set drinks package beats paying individual bar prices on the night.
  • Ready-made festive touches. Themed decor, set menus and entertainment come built in, so the party looks polished without hours of DIY.
  • A dedicated coordinator. Many packages, especially at hotels and larger venues, include an events manager who runs the timings on the night.
  • Predictable budgeting. A per-person price makes it easy to set a budget, scale it to your headcount and get sign-off for a work party.
  • A better night for the organiser. With the logistics handled, whoever booked it gets to be a guest rather than a runner.

Your Guide to Booking Christmas Party Packages in London

What's included in a London Christmas party package?

Most London packages include venue hire plus a festive meal,  a set menu or buffet with a starter, main and pudding, and often a welcome cocktail or glass of fizz. Many also include festive decor, and some add a dedicated party planner to manage the logistics, which is common at larger corporate venues. Drinks packages, a DJ, photo booths or games are usually add-ons.

Just as useful to know: what a package often doesn't include. Cloakroom service, AV support and end-of-night cleaning are sometimes charged separately, so check the listing and ask the venue exactly what's covered before you book. On Tagvenue, every listing shows its pricing model and inclusions up front, and you confirm the details with the venue before you commit.

Which London areas are best for a Christmas party?

The most festive, best-connected areas are Central London for choice and transport, the South Bank for riverside spots and cruises, and East London for value and character.

How to make the most of your Christmas party package:

Once you've chosen a package, a few moves get the most out of it:

  • Lock your headcount and menu early. Per-person packages are priced on final numbers, so confirm guests, menu choices and dietary needs as soon as you can — it holds your date and your price, and December dates go fast.
  • Match the drinks package to your crowd. A set or bottomless drinks package suits a lively party and caps your spend; a welcome drink plus a cash bar can work out cheaper for a quieter group.
  • Put the venue's coordinator to work. If the package includes an events manager, hand them your run-of-show — arrivals, speeches, food service, DJ — so the night flows without you managing it.
  • Build on the included decor. Packages often come styled for the season, so add a few personal touches (a photo backdrop, name cards, a Secret Santa corner) rather than decorating from scratch.
  • Choose add-ons that earn their place. A DJ, photo booth, karaoke or an activity lifts the energy — pick the one or two that fit your group instead of paying for everything.
  • Use the date and slot to your advantage. The same package is usually cheaper at lunchtime or midweek than on a December Friday or Saturday evening, and easier to book at short notice.

Booked Entire Venue at The Huntsman and Hounds
4.7
Meghann was super helpful in organising our work Christmas party. She replied quickly and made sure to accommodate our needs. They suggested external catering (Yard Sale Pizza) and our experience with them was amazing, it all arrived on time and was super delicious. The staff at the pub helped unpack the pizzas etc and they had really good energy, cheering along with us during our Christmas Quiz.

We hosted our Christmas party here and it was great. I asked for more Christmas decorations and for the room to be layout a specific way and they made it all happen. Highly recommend for any event! Christlin, the events manager, was great at getting back to me quickly and the staff on the night were fabulous - all helpful, competent and friendly. We all had a wonderful party!

Booked N6 Event Space at 3Locks Industrial Brewery Riverside Views
4.7
We recently rented a venue for our client event, and it turned out to be an exceptional choice! From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and our team had a fantastic time. The venue itself was affordable yet offered great amenities, making it the perfect option for hosting our event without breaking the budget. One of the standout features was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made sure everything ran seamlessly and were always available to assist with any needs or questions. Their hospitality really added to the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, helping everyone feel at ease. A highlight of the day was the brewery tour, which provided a fun and informative experience. It was the perfect addition to the event, allowing our group to learn more about the brewing process while enjoying some great drinks. This unique touch created a memorable experience and helped set the tone for a great time. Overall, this venue exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host a memorable and enjoyable event. The combination of great staff, a friendly atmosphere, and an affordable price made it an unforgettable experience for our entire team.

Booked Botanical Bar at The Oliver Conquest
4.8
What a venue! We hosted our work Xmas party at the Oliver Conquest and it was excellent. Craig was really useful in the run up to the event to iron out all the details, and the staff on the night couldn't have been more helpful. Great range of drinks upstairs and as we were a small group we had access to the cocktails and pints from downstairs too. Cocktail menu was a massive hit with the party - some of the most delicious and reasonably priced cocktails I've ever had. The room / karaoke was all set up when we arrived and we had a great night. Having your own separate toilets upstairs was such a bonus too. Overall, we had a great time at the OC and would definitely book again for another function / return to the actual pub for drinks!

Booked The Main Bar at Ester
5.0
The venue was stunning and so well set up. We hosted a Christmas party over an afternoon with the grazing table, pizzas and a steady stream of first-class cocktails from James and the team. I loved being able to bring my DJ along and have equipment to be able to do a blend of speaking and music. The food was delicious, service was super attentive and we had everything we needed for a lovely afternoon.

Booked King Harald V at In and Out (Naval & Military) Club

The venue is really beautiful. The food was nice and allergies etc displayed prominently. But the staff really deserve the most credit. I organised the event with Pablo and Diego and they were fantastic. Very helpful and responsive, they handled everything and had great suggestions when I was unsure about anything. All in all we had a wonderful and special evening for our Christmas party.

Booked The Feather's Lounge at The Prince of Wales Feathers
4.7
The staff were really friendly and helpful- both on the day and via tagvenue 10/10. The ground floor of the venue is accessible (although a bit tightly packed in some places) and has an accessible toilet (needs a radar key to access). This is what motivated us to book the feathers. The food was good, we ordered from the christmas set menu which had vegan and vegetarian options for each course including dessert. The food service was excellent, with our groups food coming out at the same time (group of 17), and was the best menu in terms of variety within a traditional Christmas dinner theme out of all the other venues we looked at on tagvenue The place was decorated nicely for Christmas, and had a lovely rustic pub vibe to it in the snug which I am sure is true all year round. The venue is close to several stations which made it accessible for disabled member of our group, and easy to find and get to for group members who had travelled into London for the party. We had a really great time at the venue with the staff being the highlight.

Booked The Vault at Revolution Leadenhall

This venue is excellent for intimate events. We hire this place for our Christmas party and it exceeded our expectations. First of all, Lucy was quick to respond and easy to talk to regarding our requests. The venue is large enough for 20-30 guests. The waiter Flo was really great and accommodating. The ambiance was superb. The food was great as well. Overall 10/10. Will definitely book in future occasions.
