Poor communication
The space itself is nice and I was excited to host my baby shower here. The person who showed me around was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the person who I was coordinating with was not very quick to respond. The venue also currently has a broken window at the front. Not their fault, it happens and I'm sure is frustrating for them. But when I asked them to revise the contract so that they could promise the window be fixed by my event which was two months away (ample time to repair the window), I got no response at all, forcing me to look elsewhere. To be fair, they did tell me it would be fixed in a separate convo. The contract asked for a 50% non-refundable deposit, so I would lose that if I cancelled which I would be forced to, if the window was not fixed. Just disappointed in the lack of communication and the situation in general.
