Great options for space to hold our strategy day, we will definitely be interested with holding larger events here as well as future strategy days.
Beautiful venue and location
I was disappointed when needing to speak to someone about the facility at the time of our booking. No one answered the phone or called us back, not even the next day to see if everything was okay - Be prepared for no communication on event night if something goes wrong. Annoyed to see that I had left a review (which I didn't) saying "Excellent Communication" because this is definitely is not the case.
The venue is very nice, good size, clean bathrooms, bar area and outdoor area. Very little decorating was required by us and we were allowed to move all the furniture in the building making it easy to set it up as we liked. They are reasonable with regards to setting up earlier in the day and what you can and can't do at the venue e.g. smoke machine.
We were a bit mislead with regards to what was working in the kitchen. I had asked multiple times to check that the powerpoints in the kitchen worked as we were serving hot food and when we arrived on the day there was no power! Additionally, the dishwasher wasn't working when we had been told it would be. If we had known in advance we could have served cold food and ordered more glasses to be washed up later, instead i had guests helping out in the kitchen to sort out the food and do the dishes. Definitely not ideal!
Beautiful building, well thought out space. Even though it's an older space, air con worked very well (we had a 41 degree day)- which we were very grateful for. Loved the variety of spaces and the vibe.
