About this space

OAR is a restaurant whose defining quality is a covered waterside terrace that overlooks the lake.

Design: The space pairs a casual café-restaurant interior with an open-sided, covered dining area. The floor is brick-paved and the seating is a mix of metal tables and chairs beneath sail-style canopies that admit daylight and provide wide sightlines across the water.

Features: A fully equipped kitchen and bar serve a brunch-led, all-day menu with coffee, cocktails, beer and wine. Dine-in and takeout are supported and the menu includes vegetarian and vegan options. Accessibility provisions include a step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: The venue suits groups seeking a relaxed, daytime social meal or an informal standing reception with casual dining.

What sets it apart: An in-house PA system and speakers allow clear announcements and amplified music for events.

What guests say: The space provides friendly, attentive service and consistently strong brunch flavours. The seating can feel firm for some visitors while portion sizes are generous.
