About this space

The Marquee is an Event Space in Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast — a roofed, open-sided picnic shelter that provides a sheltered outdoor gathering area for groups inside the park.

Design: The shelter uses a timber-framed structure and a pitched corrugated metal roof with exposed posts and open sides that admit daylight and air. The interior sits on a concrete surface and is surrounded by casual park planting and paved walkways.

Features: The marquee includes fixed picnic-style tables beneath the roof and a hard surface suitable for catering setups and temporary buffets. The space provides Wi‑Fi and a PA system/speakers for announcements or background music. The area is wheelchair accessible and offers a step-free guest entrance and nearby accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Families and casual groups seeking a relaxed, social outdoor dining or picnic-style gathering in a sheltered, easy-access setting.

What sets it apart: A permanent covered structure positioned immediately next to the park's pools and attractions, giving guests direct access to park facilities during their hire period.

What guests say: The space provides ample shaded seating and convenient nearby facilities such as locker hire and toilets, contributing to an easy, family-friendly experience.
