About The LaRoux Table

Growing up in a challenging environment senate began her culinary journey at the age of 8 years old, taking the lead in the kitchen due to unfortunate circumstances.

Being a self-taught chef at a young age, she birthed an indescribable passion for creating timeless dishes with the influence of her mom's Louisiana style of cooking by the age of 20, having her first son she began pursuing her culinary career. She started preparing plates from her home and relentlessly traveled to local businesses to sell her food.

Continuing her culinary journey in 2008 she earned credentials at the art institute of Houston as well as Houston community college central.

She soon began working at pappadeaux seafood kitchen and helped develop the restaurant and bar known as Davis street in Houston, Texas.

She then decided to go into business for herself birthing cajun fever, and delivering plates to now a multitude of people.

With her business now growing rapidly, she has been blessed to cater events for businesses such as at&t, memorial Herman, the woman's hospital, Micheal e debakey va, etc.

Constantly trying to evolve, in 2017 she opened the cajun fever food truck, not being totally fulfilled in 2019 she made the conscious decision to become a full-time caterer, creating the LaRoux table.
