We rented the studio from 15:30 to 19:30. The studio representative arrived late, which delayed our production and forced us to wait outside for more than 20 minutes. The production was with a Crystal Palace player, and due to this delay, we had to pay the player an additional fee.
The studio representative arrived at 15:55, which meant we were only able to enter the studio at 15:57 — half an hour later than the time we had already paid for. Additionally, we found the studio disorganized, which required us to tidy up the space before we could begin the production.
We finished the production at 20:30 and were then informed that we would be charged an extra £50 for exceeding the booked time by one hour. However, the team explained that due to the studio’s lack of punctuality, we should only pay for half an hour of additional time. Since we were able to enter the studio at 16:00 due to the late arrival of the studio representative, the originally agreed schedule of 15:30 to 19:30 (4 hours) was effectively shifted to 16:00 to 20:00. As we left at 20:30, this means we only exceeded the adjusted time by 30 minutes.
Therefore, we will pay an additional £25, corresponding to half an hour extra.
