About this space
The space is comprised of an airy ground floor and mezzanine restaurant area and library. With a classic European cafe feel, you can celebrate weddings, birthdays or your office party in a bespoke intimate setting.
We offer both wet hire and dry hire and have a maximum capacity of 120 people standing across the whole venue. For sit-down dinners or functions, capacity depends on the format of the event.

Hiring Fidelio for the evening was a great experience. Ash, Raffaello and their team were fantastic: extremely responsive and accommodating of our various special requests as well as the needs of the musicians. The minimum spend was a bit higher than for some comparable venues we had considered, but the overall value received was excellent: we had the entire place to ourselves for the evening, the food was excellent, with a good variety of items to choose from, and our guests gave many compliments about both the ambiance and the catering.
The restriction against live music on the ground floor after 9pm was mildly inconvenient—though with a second piano in the basement lounge, the main inconvenience was persuading our guests to venture downstairs to enjoy the band's second set in a setting that was, if anything, more intimate and with a better ambiance for dancing late into the evening.

We are incredibly grateful to Ash and the wider team for their help in organising our wedding reception. The evening ran so smoothly, and every aspect of the event aligned with our expectations. The food, atmosphere, service were all of the highest quality.
The venue itself is incredibly charming, and many of our guests commented on how lovely it is.
We would wholeheartedly recommend.

We had the best time celebrating at Fidelio after doing our wedding registry in the day. Ash was the loveliest host, super accommodating and clear on communication from the get go. We loved this beautiful space and we would recommend anyone who is looking for a venue to host an event.

This is a great venue for a party - my 60th about a 100 guests. Drinks only. We started in main bar for drinks and then post cake bar opened downstairs in the Berlin room for dancing. Everyone commented on the venue and close to Farringdon which was great transport wise. Staff on the night were amazing and bar flowed well. Ashley very helpful and organised. Would recommend!
Music system needs an upgrade as couple of issues (quickly resolved). Understand that is planned.

Fidelio Cafe is a coffee-shop and bar with the mission of getting young people closer to classical music.
Arranged over basement, ground floor and mezzanine, it features a very unique charm bringing together the intimacy of the basement lounge with the open and light atmosphere of the main ground floor space.
We rent several of our spaces separately so do not hesitate to enquire about your best solution. We will be happy to help.
