Bright and spacious, The Burgundy Room has a capacity for up to 100 people and we can cater for a wide range of setups for whatever event you are planning.
Perfect for charity and corporate events, gala receptions, award ceremonies, product launches, Christmas parties, professional association events, business expos and exhibitions and all other business functions.
Prices
Out of hours hourly fee: £75* per hour
Post 9pm hourly fee: £150** per hour
*Out of hours staffing costs apply to bookings made outside of regular library opening hours. The rate is £15.00 per person, per hour. Usually, only one staff member is necessary, but multiple staff may be required for larger events.
**Security costs: The terms of our license require us to provide two SIA security guards for any event lasting beyond 9pm. There is a minimum 4-hour hire period, and two operatives are required. Events that finish before 9pm are not subject to this charge.
Bar: We can provide a fully stocked bar for the staffing cost of £15.52 per hour (Please note that for larger events, additional staffing may be necessary).
Corkage: You are welcome to bring your own alcohol to consume on the premises.
Wine/Prosecco: £2 per bottle

The Upper Norwood Library Hub is one of the original Victorian Public Libraries.
Closed by the local council in 2016 the library was reopened in 2017 and is now maintained by a community-run charity The Upper Norwood Library Trust.
The library has several adaptable spaces for hire including spaces within the library itself and a range of function rooms.
