FAQs about Summer Party Venues in City of London

How much does it cost to hire a summer party venue in the City of London?

Well, it all depends on what you're looking for! If you want to have the whole place to yourself, prices can range from £1000 to £4000 for a full buyout. But it’s also possible to hire a space by buying per-person packages that include food and drinks for anywhere between £60 and £95+ per person. Some venues hire their spaces on the basis of minimum spend, and this option starts from as low as £600 and goes up to £3800+. If you only need the venue for a few hours, hourly hire fees are usually around £70 to £300+. But keep in mind that the final cost will depend on things like the size of the venue, the amenities on offer, and the duration of your event. It’s best to contact the venue manager for a personalised quote based on your requirements. (All data from Tagvenue.com.)

Any tips for hosting a summer party?

Sure! Here are some of the cool tips that will help your party stand out!

  • Choose a Venue - First and foremost, you'll need to book a great venue! During the decision-making process, consider factors such as the size of the venue, the location, and the type of atmosphere you want to create.
  • Send Invitations - Create some hype for your party and send out personal invitations to your guests. Be sure to include all of the important details, such as the date, time, location, dress code, and any other special instructions.
  • Plan Your Menu - Good food and fabulous drinks are essentials you can’t miss out on! Make sure to offer a variety of options that cater to all dietary needs. If you know your crowd will like it, don’t be afraid to serve something with a twist.
  • Consider Entertainment - If you want to host a fun party where people relax and enjoy their time, you need to think of entertainment options. Of course, music is a must-have but you could also consider preparing some fun drinking games and activities that will keep everyone entertained.
  • Prepare for the Weather - London weather can be unpredictable, so be sure to plan for all eventualities.Make sure the venue you book has some plan B options in case of rain or a heatwave.
  • Decorate the Venue - Adding some decorations to your venue can help create a festive atmosphere. Also, it will make the event more personal. Consider using bunting, balloons, or fairy lights to create a cosy and welcoming vibe.
  • Have Fun - Finally, remember to have fun! Hosting a summer party can be a bit overwhelming, but it's also a great opportunity to relax, socialise, and enjoy the summer weather with your friends and family.

Amazing venue and staff. Everything from the outset was clearly organised and the team are fantastic. What makes Savage Garden different to other venues is that it's clear they take great interest in your event and work closely with you to bring your vision to life. We hosted an event for around 200 people and it couldn't have gone more smooth, all feedback I have received has been incredibly positive! The food, venue and vibes are 10/10! Booked The Lawn at The Jugged Hare
Excellent location for an after-work event in the heart of the City. The bar staff and event manager were great, however the staff serving the food were less so. When asked if one of the dishes was vegetarian they didn't know, and seemed annoyed that they had to find out.
