About this space

Lounge Area is a semi-private lounge within Symposium Cafe Restaurant Thornhill that offers a contained, quieter corner separated from the main dining room.

Design: Interior is dominated by dark wood finishes, tiled floors and mixed leather seating in red and brown around polished marble-top tables. Low pendant lights create pools of warm, focused light and keep the ceiling feeling low and intimate.

Features: A service bar occupies one side of the lounge and includes high stools, a bottle display and a wall-mounted screen. The area provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and receives natural light from adjacent windows. The lounge is wheelchair accessible and has a step-free guest entrance plus accessible toilets.

Ideal for: This lounge suits intimate, relaxed social gatherings that combine casual seated dining and drinks.

What guests say: The space is clean and welcoming. The staff are attentive and polite, although service timing can vary at busy periods.
