The large open living area was perfect for my daughter’s engagement party, while still providing several smaller spaces where guests could gather and chat. The uninterrupted view of Mt Sugarloaf from both the verandah and lounge was a real highlight. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, allowing us to open the folding doors and seamlessly extend the entertaining space outdoors. The kitchen is modern and exceptionally well equipped, with a multi-burner gas cooktop, gas oven, dishwasher, hidden fridge and freezer, and an excellent selection of dinnerware, glassware and serving pieces. The large 12-seat dining table comfortably accommodated all of our food and made serving easy. The bedrooms provided plenty of space for guests to leave coats and personal belongings. One thing to note is that the small office shown on the floor plan is the owners’ private office and was locked during our stay, so it is not part of the guest accommodation. There was ample street parking, and the neighbourhood felt very safe and pleasant to walk around. As this property also operates as an Airbnb, I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for spacious, high-quality accommodation. If the backyard had been a little larger, we would even have considered it as a wedding venue.
