About Cape Byron Distillery

Cape Byron Distillery is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

Cape Byron Distillery is a craft distillery and tasting venue housed in a timber-and-metal building centred on an elevated deck that looks out over surrounding rainforest.

Venue highlights: Guided gin and whisky tastings, rainforest gin walks and cocktail sessions can be arranged for private groups and include expert-led tasting commentary. An elevated timber deck and an adjacent indoor tasting room provide indoor–outdoor flow and uninterrupted rainforest views for hired events. The site has step-free access throughout and free onsite parking to simplify guest arrivals.

Best for: Gin and whisky tasting events, cocktail masterclasses and small corporate outings fit the venue's offering.

Location: Byron Bay hinterland provides a rainforest setting and nearby walking trails that guests can use before or after an event.

What guests say: The guided gin and whisky tastings are informative and led by knowledgeable, engaging hosts. The rainforest gin walk combines native‑plant commentary with tastings on the elevated deck.
