About this space
Nauti Studios is a sustainable creative space nestled within three repurposed industrial warehouses in Sydney's dynamic inner-city district of Glebe.
Our combined spaces make a total of 365sqm, being conjoined and easily accessible or can both be hired out individually.
Our spaces are ideal for everything from individual projects to professional gatherings-they're also perfect for photography shoots, film productions, workshops, corporate events, art exhibitions, content creation, pop-up markets, product launches, offsite team building, wedding photography, conferences, and more.
We offer a selection of stunning indoor and outdoor areas, including two expansive warehouses, a deck, and an outdoor space enhanced by murals and lush plants. Our venue is a unique find that will leave a lasting impression on your guests.
In the 1940s these warehouses were owned by John Durst, the pioneer who introduced electric motors to Australia. The history of the space is still evident in the exposed beams, white rendered brick walls, towering ceilings (from 4-7m), concrete floors with ground floor access(you are drive straight in for loading), operational winch, spray booth, grand barn doors, pulley systems and parking on site.
Now the warehouses are the home of Nauti Studios, a social enterprise providing sustainably-made work spaces for artists, craftspeople, freelancers and entrepreneurs since 2014.
With Nauti, the warehouse spaces has been refreshed with vibrant murals and a variety of indoor plants, bringing warmth and life to the expansive industrial setting.
We can provide sound and lighting equipment, staff, furniture, access to kitchen and bathroom amenities if needed.
Our venues are easily accessible my all modes of transport, for example its a 10min bus ride to Central.
We are also a 10min walk from Glebe Point Road, one of Sydney’s best food and beverage areas.

No smoking in the building, but you can smoke outside.
Outside catering and drinks are allowed.
No noise that would disturb neighbours after 9pm.
You can be responsible for cleaning the warehouse after your use, or bring your own cleaner, or pay our fee for our cleaner.

About Nauti Studios

Originally owned by John Durst in the 1940s, the pioneer who brought electric motors to Australia, the warehouses retain their historical charm with exposed beams, white-rendered brick walls, soaring ceilings (ranging from 4 to 7 meters), concrete floors with ground-level access, operational winches, a spray booth, grand barn doors, pulley systems, and on-site parking.
Now home to Nauti Studios’ creative team, the space has been revitalized with vibrant murals and an array of indoor plants, infusing warmth and life into the industrial setting.
The venue is easily accessible by various modes of transport, just a 10-minute bus ride to Central Station, and a 10-minute walk from Glebe Point Road, one of Sydney’s premier food and beverage districts.
