Enjoy exclusive use of our multi floor venue that features a fully functional DIY workshop space for guests to admire.
Our venue is available for up to 90 guests and is the perfect option for bigger events, like milestone birthdays, weddings and much more... Perfect for seated dining options for up to 60 guests and standing canapé style events for 60+ guests.
Nestled in the back streets of bustling King St, Newtown. There are plenty of public transport options available as well as local bars for anyone that is keen to keep partying once the event is over.
Prices
From Thursday - Saturday Kitchen closes from 3 pm-6 pm.
Minimum spend on food & beverage is $85pp.
Exclusive venue hire starts at $500 depending on the day & service selected.
10% service fee applies to the final food & beverage bill.
Packages per person:
$40 per person for 5 canapes
$55 per person for 7 canapes
$55 per person ramen menu
Drink packages vary from $40 - $60 per person for a 2-hour drinks package. Additional hours at charged at $15pp.

No smoking permitted within 4 metres of the restaurant or workshop. No outside catering or BYO available. All guests are required to minimise noise on arriving and leaving the venue in respect of our neighbours & friends.

About Rising Sun Workshop
The first of it's kind, our restaurant shares space with a DIY communal workshop frequented by two-wheeled enthusiasts nestled int he back streets of Newtown, Sydney.
Traditions guide but do not rule. Rising Sun Workshop does not support factory farming, what we buy in we buy locally, from roasters, smokers, brewers, growers, winemakers & distillers who share our philosophies - our mates.
