About this space

Atrium is a terrace in the Palais Hotel that provides a sea‑facing semi‑private deck with uninterrupted views of the coastal horizon.

Design: The area is light‑filled and informal, featuring timber decking, bar‑height counters, rattan seating and hanging greenery against crisp white panelling and striped awnings.

Features: The terrace includes in‑place Wi‑Fi, abundant natural light, umbrella shading and outdoor heaters, plus wheelchair access, a step‑free entrance and accessible toilets. The space permits guest music and BYO DJs and provides a PA system and speakers. Bar‑height seating and high tables run along the deck for casual serving and mingling.

Ideal for: Intimate to mid‑sized informal groups seeking relaxed, conversation‑friendly seated lunches or drinks in a sheltered outdoor setting.

What sets it apart: A sheltered terrace with a fold‑back frontage that converts between covered indoor shelter and an open‑air deck.

What guests say: The space has friendly, helpful staff. The outdoor deck provides a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.
