About this space
The Taproom hosts a range of events, such as live music, book launches, art exhibitions, community fundraisers and more. The space has also hosted formal meetings, AGMs, conferences and a wedding.
The Taproom has a full kitchen and can offer a range of menu options, including (and specialising in) vegan and vegetarian. GF options also available.
Shedshaker is a brewery, so there is a large range of beer available. We also stock local wines, ciders and spirits and have a range of non-alcoholic drinks.
The ground level space can sit 160 people around tables. Upstairs (access via stairs only) can sit 50 people around tables.
The Taproom has AV equipment (projector, screen, PA).
Shedshaker Brewing is part of the Mill complex, which hosts a wide arrange of businesses, including a winery, cheese maker, chocolate maker, ice creamery, vintage bazaar, art galleries and more.
The Castlemaine Botanical gardens are across the road and the train station is a 5 minute walk.

About Shedshaker Taproom
The new Shedshaker Brewing Taproom at the Mill Castlemaine is now open and waiting for your visit. Situated in the oldest part of the complex, adjacent to the Castlemaine Vintage Bazaar - industrial features, dining booths and a fun and funky atmosphere.
Shedshaker serves a wide range of new and classic hand-crafted beers all made on site with local wines, cocktails and non-alcohol options. The Taproom’s famous pizzas have been joined by an Italian-inspired menu featuring delicious pastas, salads, desserts and special dishes. Vegan and gluten free specialities are catered for.
The Taproom is still the home of live music in Castlemaine, with free shows on Fridays and Sundays, alongside special ticketed gigs. Other events include the popular Books at the Brewery, PubSing, regular art exhibitions promoting local artists and much more.
