About this space

Upper Poolside is a semi-private outdoor space in Kingfisher Bay Resort, characterised by an open-air terrace set beside the resort's upper pool complex. The space's defining quality is its direct, waterside position that combines sheltered seating and planted borders.

Design: The terrace pairs paved decking and planted beds with low parasols and a nearby curved pavilion structure. The palette shows timber tones and bright painted structural accents under abundant natural light, producing clear sightlines across the immediate grounds.

Features: The space receives strong natural daylight and provides a step-free guest entrance and wheelchair access. The hard-surfaced terrace supports temporary furniture and catering setups and connects directly to the resort's leisure area for service access.

Ideal for: Friend groups or informal corporate groups seeking a relaxed, social standing reception or a drinks-focused outdoor gathering.

What sets it apart: On-site permission for amplified music and the option to bring a DJ make this outdoor terrace unusually flexible for louder, music-led gatherings.

What guests say: The resort's outdoor areas are well maintained and feel peaceful, with quiet terrace and balcony spots that guests find easy to relax in.
