The Voodoo Lounge is a purpose built Rehearsal room designed by MUSICIANS for MUSICIANS and coveniently located just 5 miunutes from the city in inner city Funky Forestville .
Our goal was to create a comfy space for busy Musicians who would rather spend their time reharsing and not loading , lugging and unloading gear . In the room we provide the best gear and its inckuded in our hire fee. You only need to bring keys, drumsticks and your guitars .We provide 5 Shure SM58 MICS and 7 Mic stands ,2 Fender Blues Jnr 4 amps,a Gretsch DRUM KIT and a Fender Rumble Bass Amp.
Feeling hungry ? KFC,Hungry Jacks ,The Goody Hotel and Pizza Pizzaz ( best pizza in Adelaide) are all just 3 min way!
We are a premium space often used by National and International Artists as well as local professional musicians and hobbyists.
Groups, solo artists ,music teachers and Karaoke are all welcome.
Location,Location ,Location is the number one slogan for real estate and our spacious room is onlky a 5 min walk from the Goodwood Train station ,Forestville Tram stop and Leader street bus stop .Even better we are 80 metres from Derringers Music ,
The Unley Swimming Pool,Reserve, Brownhill Creek and Basketball and Skate Park where there are free electric Barbeques but dont worry we have a free gas Barby , mini Basketball court and Dartboard to enjoy in your breaks .
Our room ahs been acoustically designed .The room is a room with in a room , the outer'skin', floor and Roof are 100 to 150 mm of reinforced concrete then the gap in walls and ceiling is filled with 300mm of Tontine insulation , then a 75mm Hebel wall then a 25 mm air gap and then 10mm gyprock .The ceiling has hanging roof baffles and the walls are treated with acoustic foam tiles .
A uniique feature is that we have a large 4m2 Triple gazed window which fills the room with light, no more dark and dingy space!
The carpet in the room is commercial plush pile just perfect for those that like to rehearse with out shoes on !

-Gretsch Catalina Maple 4 PIECE Drum kit ( choice of 2 snare drums) on a 300mm highh drum riser so yo are at eye level with the rest of your band ,Cowbell ,2 Sets of Zilli Cymbals ( Jazz and Rock set ups),Tama Heavy duty drum stool,DW 5000 2 LEG Hi Hat allowing space for the DW 5000 Double Kick Pedals.The 3 cymbal stands are the lighweight Yamaha Cross Town Model so you wont strain your back when moving the stands from behind the kit .
-2 Powerful 2,OOO Watt JBL PRX ONE PA's with 10' subwoofer and 13 mid and high speakers as well as a Yamaha DBR10 Vocal foldback on a stand for the drummer .

LOCK GATE AND PUT KEY IN THE LETTERBOX IN THE FRONT HEDGE
