About this space

This is a great feature room that gets flooded with natural light! The room can accommodate up to 50 people in a theatre style layout, and up to 28 seated at tables in a classroom, square or u-shape format. A ceiling-mounted projector and screen, water cooler, super fast Wi-Fi and flipchart stand with paper and pens are included in the room hire costs.

The Training Room is located on the ground floor of Clavering House, where accessible washroom facilities are also located, along with easy access to our reception area and refreshments.

Host rules

1. No Smoking on Site: Clavering House has a no smoking policy for the full site, including (but not limited to) toilets, offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, and a car park. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vapes. When smoking, please ensure you are standing away from the front steps and the car park gate. For your own safety, we advise you to stand on the pavement across the road from our building, or in the arch of the railway bridge next to the building.

2. Noise: Please be aware that in the communal areas of Clavering House, noise echoes and amplifies due to the shape and age of the building. This can cause disruption to offices, meeting rooms and reception. Please keep all noise to a minimum were possible.

3. Respect Others: Be mindful of the language you use within the building. We welcome people from all backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, genders and orientations. Please refrain from using bad/foul language that could cause offence.

4. Keep The Building Tidy: In order for everyone to be able to enjoy the facilities make sure you tidy up after yourself, use the waste bins provided, and report any issues to reception straight away so they can be dealt with.
