The Studio calls from the first floor, perfectly petite and full of flair! This room sets the scene for smaller shoots, shows, breakout sessions, creative team days, or presentations. The Studio is also available for private hire for large groups prior to the weekend’s live shows, supplying you with your very own bar and staff.

Host rules
No Alcohol Outside: Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages outside the venue. All drinks must be consumed indoors.
No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available for your convenience.
Clean-Up Requirements: The venue must be left clean and in the same condition as it was found. Any additional cleaning required post-event will incur a cleaning fee.
Respect Our Comedy Programming: Hired events must not interfere with the venue’s standard comedy programming. All private bookings will be scheduled around our regular comedy shows to ensure no disruption.
Noise Control: Please ensure noise levels remain respectful of neighboring businesses and residents.
Damage Liability: The hirer is responsible for any damages incurred during the event and will be charged for repairs.
Time Restrictions: Events must adhere to the agreed hire times. Overtime may incur additional fees.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day

Up the Creek Comedy Club is one of the city's most iconic entertainment venues. Born of belly laughs but built for more, we set the scene for stand-up, storytelling, and everything in between.
Thirsty for options? This bar’s got range - from hoppy highs to spirited lows, with ciders and lagers rounding out the mix. Catering options are available on request, including our in-house Detroit-style pizza kitchen. The venue also holds a 2AM licence for late-running events.
We regularly work with production companies, creative agencies, and corporate teams to deliver events ranging from brand activations and content filming to talks, panel discussions, and client-facing showcases.
