Host rules
1. Booking & Access
- Access is limited to the confirmed hire period only. Early access or late departures must be agreed upon in writing.
- The hirer is responsible for setting up and packing down within the booking time.
2. Capacity & Use
- Maximum capacity must be adhered to at all times, as specified in the hire agreement.
- The space may only be used for the purpose outlined in the booking. Any changes must be approved in advance.
3. Conduct
- All users of the gallery must behave respectfully toward the venue, staff, and other guests.
- No illegal or unsafe activities are permitted on-site.
- Noise must be kept to a respectful level, especially in consideration of neighboring tenants.
4. Damage & Cleanliness
- The hirer is responsible for any damage caused during the hire period.
- The space must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the venue is not returned to its original state.
5. Artwork & Fixtures
- No nails, screws, adhesives, or other fixings may be used on gallery walls or surfaces without prior permission.
- Existing artwork or installations must not be removed or altered unless previously agreed.
6. Catering & Alcohol
- External catering is permitted with prior approval.
- Alcohol may only be served or consumed if agreed in advance and in accordance with licensing laws.
7. Health & Safety
- Emergency exits must remain clear at all times.
- Any accidents or incidents must be reported to staff immediately.
8. Insurance
- The hirer is responsible for arranging appropriate insurance cover for their event, including public liability if required.
9. Staff & Supervision
- Palmer Gallery staff reserve the right to be present during the hire period.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined in the hire agreement.

About Palmer Gallery
Palmer Gallery is a 1750 sq ft contemporary art space in a former 1920s factory in Lisson Grove, London, housed in the Grade II listed Old Aeroworks Building, with Art Deco features and elements by post-modern architect Terry Farrell.
Formerly home to Palmer Manufacturers, producers of tyres, brakes, and gun turrets for WWII aircraft, it features include a light-filled main gallery with 4 m-high ceilings, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, reception, two toilets (one with a shower), a kitchen, coat storage, and an off-street loading bay.
Equipped with power, lighting, and an AV system, plus abundant natural light. A short walk from Edgware Road and Marylebone stations, with flexible hire and strong transport links.
