Our Downstairs Lounge (800 sqft) is an excellent option for your next event.
This space can fit up to 50 guests so you are welcome to invite lots of your friends or colleagues for a fun celebration.
The workshop is rented for the same types of events as well as art and teaching classes, games, corporate meetings, and many other functions.

Great venue which allowed flexibility for how we wanted to use the space. Space is much nicer than it looks in photos.
Food platters were great for a party of our size - and quality of food was very nice, including plenty of options for vegans.
Staff were very polite and helpful, very accomodating.
Highly recommend this venue space.

That it was close to public transport and pretty central. Staff were helpful and friendly.
That I couldn't start prepping for my event more than 30 mins before, even though there were no customers downstairs. Photos on this site need to be updated to how the downstairs area currently looks.

Excellent location & only a stone throw away from Balham Station. Downstairs area was descent size and had a nice ambience for our quiz night. Communication with the manager was a pleasure, and staff on the day was so nice and helpful. Recommended

Esquires Coffee Balham is a lovely coffee shop in Balham.
Possibility to rent either:
- Downstairs Lounge / Workshop Area (800 sqft) below coffee shop on weekdays for £20/hour or £90/day
- Upstairs Shop (1000 sqft) after 6pm any day for £20/hour
- Full coffee shop (1800 sqft) after 6pm any day for £30/hour
- Garden (700 sqft) all week for £20/hour or £90/day
Located in a high footfall area, close to the Balham tube and train station.
We can do private and public parties. We can close the coffee shop for you after 6pm.
Current furniture can be moved around.
