About this space

Built in 1683, St James Garlickhythe is a magnificent City of London church with rich and colourful decoration and a towering 40ft high ceiling.
It is possible to hire the building exclusively.

St James is a perfect venue for music and concerts. The acoustics are excellent. There is a grand piano available.

Very good, the reverb of the church is very nice, our performance is very successful, the staff moved the piano to the front of the stage with us.

Magnificent space, the energy is beyond divine. Johanne and the administrative team were very helpful, supportive and flexible. She supported us through every step of the event and we are very grateful for that. The space is well maintained and it exceeded our expectations, would highly recommend it. Thanks Johanne!
